Jimmy Wayne Scores Book Deal

Country Aircheck is reporting that Howard Books will publish Paper Angels, Jimmy Wayne’s first book. The book is inspired by his childhood in the North Carolina foster care system and will hit stores in the fall of 2011. Novelist Travis Thrasher will co-author Paper Angels with Wayne.

“[This] is the book that Jimmy Wayne felt he had to write,” publisher Jonathan Merkh says. “He brings his own unique personal perspective to bare in writing an inspiring book that brings compelling awareness to the often forgotten children in our society.”
