Jimmy Wayne Used Twitter To Get Out Of A Sticky Situation

Jimmy Wayne ran into some trouble on his Meet Me Halfway walk outside of Socorro, NM on Highway 60 last week (May 25th).

According to Country Aircheck, “Wayne was walking alone along Highway 60 when he was startled by man driving a silent-running hybrid vehicle who asked if he could walk with Wayne.”

“I asked if I could get a picture with him for our updates before we started walking and he said, ‘No,'” Wayne told Country Aircheck. “It was extremely awkward and obvious that he was no one to be trusted. It was the feeling you get when you know you’re about to get bit by a dog.”

Wayne Tweeted his exact location and help was on the scene within ten minutes. State troopers said they received 911 phone calls from all over the country.
