Jo Dee Messina will take part in two special events this Saturday (9/25) in Nashville. Just after dawn, Jo Dee will sing the national anthem at the “Women’s Running Magazine Women’s Half Marathon Series,” which starts in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Jo Dee, an avid runner herself, will also run the associated 5K race. Then later that evening at 9:00PM, she’ll perform at the Grand Ole Opry on the Ryman Stage and will be interviewed on the Opry’s syndicated radio show, “America’s Opry Weekend.” Also performing that evening are Jimmy Wayne and Janie Fricke.
