Professional dancer/country singer/actress Julianne Hough is staying plenty busy with the acting side of her career as of late. Her recent projects include Burlesque, Footloose, and Rock of Ages, and this coming spring, Julianne will start shooting yet another film.
In the currently untitled film, Julianne will co-star with Russell Brand as a sheltered young woman who loses her faith after a plane crash and revels in the decadence of Las Vegas. While in Las Vegas, Julianne’s character meets an unlikely companion who helps her find herself.
The movie will be the directing debut of screenwriter Diablo Cody.
