Katie Armiger Releases New Video For ‘Better In A Black Dress,’ Single Marks Highest Chart Debut
Katie Armiger’s latest single “Better In A Black Dress” marks her highest chart debut landing at #54 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart upon release. The sassy up-tempo single, which Katie co-wrote with well-known Nashville songwriter Blair Daly, has been winning over radio and fans alike making it her fastest growing single of her career already moving up a spot to #53 on the chart.
Katie, who has become one of the biggest and brightest independent female country artists, is currently out on her “Get Smart Tour” sponsored by Great American Country (GAC) through November. Fans can check out the video for “Better In A Black Dress” on GAC and can listen to her single at HERE.
“Better In A Black Dress,” from Katie’s forthcoming fourth studio album on Cold River Records, was inspired by her run as the fan-voted #1 Hottest Bachelorette in Country Weekly Magazine for the last two years. The title has sparked people’s interest to try and set Katie up with eligible bachelors. “It’s such an honor that fans have voted for me – and I am so grateful – but it’s also intimidating. It opens up my life where people feel they need to set me up,” said Katie, who this weekend celebrated her 21st birthday. “This is a feel good song embracing just being young and having fun.”
