Katie Armiger Talks, ACM Fashion, “Best Song Ever,” and Facebook

Katie Armiger looked dazzling at the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (4/3). CountryMusicIsLove caught up with Armiger on the red carpet and we had to ask her about her dress! She told us picking it out was really easy since she didn’t have to do it.

“This was such a weight of my shoulders,” the singer admits. “I had my stylist Tiffany pick it out, its a Sherry Hill dress. This is the first dress I tried on and I loved it. I was like, ‘this is it, I just know it!'”

Her only complaint about the gown? “It weighs so much!”

Katie’s latest music video for her single, “Best Song Ever” has spent several weeks at #1 on GAC’s Top 20 Countdown.

“It’s just really fun,” Armiger tells CountryMusicIsLove of the song. “I call it a ditty. It’s a two minute and thirty second song. It’s one of those ‘you’re in your car driving and you role the windows down and want to sing and the top of your lungs,’ that’s the kind of song it is.”
