More details about Carrie Underwood’s engagement ring are emerging. According to MTV.com, sources are estimating that the rock Underwood received from Mike Fisher cost around $150,000. It is said to be a 5+ carat yellow diamond with diamond sidestones.
The ring was designed by Johnathon Arndt, who has also designed jewelry for celebrities such as Celine Dion and Stephen Spielberg. “This ring is a symbol of love from Mike Fisher to Carrie Underwood,” Arndt said in a release. “Warm Wishes and Congratulations to Carrie and Mike!!!”
Underwood has worn a few of Arndt’s designs in the past. At November’s CMA Awards, Carrie unveiled a few new peices from his 2010 line. She also wore Arndt’s jewelry at the 2009 Grammy Awards and at the 2009 CNN Heroes Awards.
