New Music From Jamey Johnson
Jamey Johnson had a wildly successful ride with his smash hit “In Color” from the equally successful album, That Lonesome Song. Johnson is following up that project with his new single that hit airwaves this weekend, “My Way To You,” from a forthcoming album. The single will be available on iTunes beginning August 11, but you’ll want to head on over to Jamey’s website a week earlier since they’ll be offering a FREE download of the single beginning August 3.
The new album, being released this fall, has a unique twist… in addition to other formats, Johnson will release the album on vinyl. Jamey says “Man, that’s how I listen to music. It’s my favorite, number-one preference at home, to go put a vinyl record on my great grandmother’s old record player. Which reminds me, I need to get somebody to do some maintenance on it. It needs a new needle.”
While Johnson wraps up the new album, he’ll also continue to tour this summer. “The road is where it’s at,” says Johnson. “I love it. That’s where you take country music. You don’t get the message out there by sitting at the house.”
