‘One Tree Hill’ Star Jana Kramer Releases Debut Country Single
Jana Kramer, who stars on the CW’s One Tree Hill, has launched a country music career.
Kramer recently signed a record deal with Warner Music Nashville and debuted her first single, “I Won’t Give Up” on the hit drama series last night (2/8).
“‘I Won’t Give Up’ is about never giving up on the ones you love,” Jana tells the Examiner. “I wrote this song because I know what it’s like to be dependent on someone, then have to learn to stand on my own again.”
“Jana is so thrilled and deeply honored with her new partnership with Warner Music Nashville,” Jana's rep, Janice Lee, said in a statement. “Singing and songwriting have always been her passions, and she is blessed by the opportunity to pursue her love of country music and acting simultaneously.”
According to reports, Kramer will spilt her time between Nashville and Wilmington, N.C., where One Tree Hill is filmed.
