Julianne Hough attended the 15th Annual Hollywood Film Festival Awards Gala on Monday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. The dancer/singer/actress debuted new, shorter locks on the red carpet. Hough reportedly chopped her hair off on Thursday at Nine Zero One salon in Los Angeles.

“She was in a super good mood because it was her first day being done with all her [Footloose] press,” a witness tells Us Weekly. “She wanted to cut her hair off to get it healthy from all the styling since she doesn’t work until the new year.”
