Recap: Carter Twins “Twitter-View”
We had the opportunity to do a “Twitter-View” with the Carter Twins yesterday. Here’s a full recap, in case you missed it…
CMIL: Fans are very excited for your digital EP, which comes out next week. What's your favorite song on the EP & why?
Carter Twins: We are so excited about some new stuff coming out! I think “Wish I Would’ve Kissed Her” is probably our fav. one on the EP because we wrote it with our friends and its a really fun and catchy song!!
CMIL: When u 1st moved to Nashville, u wrote about 80 songs in 6 months. Where did you find the inspiration to write THAT MANY songs?
Carter Twins: Well.. let’s see…We always like to say that when we write we draw from all aspects of our lives, other peoples lives, and even things that are going on in the world at the time…We like to call it a giant melting pot of ideas.. haha!
CMIL: LOL- like group therapy! Out of everyone you’ve written with, who is your favorite person to write with..besides each other.
Carter Twins: It’s been such a great year with lots of cool things happening and we have been so blessed to be able to work with Kristian [Bush] from Sugarland…and Lady A. But honestly I dont think we could pick a favorite…Everyone we have worked with has been great!
CMIL: Your fans are always sending us stories about their experience with you…What is your most memorable experience with a fan?
Carter Twins: ummm.. hmm…Where do we even start? We love everyone who comes to hang out with us. We always have such a good time. The most memorable one was probably when we went go carting with Patrisha…and we re-named her P-Trish.. and had an absolute blast! 🙂
CMIL: Sounds like fun! What are three things that you absolutely can't live without when you go out on the road?
Carter Twins: (Zach)- 1. 24 (seasons) 2. chips ahoy 3. Zicam (always sick) (Josh)- 1. razor 2. Ice Cream mint choc oreo 3. phone.
CMIL: The next round of questions are from fans….We got a TON of emails!
Carter Twins: YESSSSSSSSS! SO PUMPED BRING EM ONNNNNNN!
CMIL: Kaitlyn wants to know…If you were in college and had to major in something other than music, what would it be?
Carter Twins: hmm…Well we would probably stay in the music vein and go into music business or something!
CMIL: Bryan, who's also a twin, wants to know how you manage being around each other all the time…do you ever argue?
Carter Twins: haha Bryan I’m sure knows what it’s like…We do get on each other’s nerves but…It’s so nice to have our band members with us so they can just be like go away.
CMIL: Zach, Jessica wants to know if the key necklace that you wear has any special meaning?
Carter Twins: Well a big songwriter friend of mine had a cool key collection from around the world and they were passed down by her family and she let me have some and so I decided to make a necklace to wear as a good luck charm because she is such an amazing writer!
CMIL: Halloween is this weekend…do you have any costume plans?
Carter Twins: uhh…We know…Time crunch…Still not sure yet…Need help peeps!
CMIL: You guys should be Mario & Luigi!!
Carter Twins: AHHH THATS HILARIOUS.. IF WE ARE PLAYING A SHOW.. CONSIDER IT DONE.. AND YOU CAME UP WITH IT 🙂 HAHAHA
