Blake Shelton Releases ‘Friends’ From ‘The Angry Birds Movie’ Soundtrack
The music video features Shelton in the recording studio with many of the movie’s characters.
Blake Shelton not only lends his voice to a character in the upcoming animated film, The Angry Birds Movie, he also has a new song featured on the soundtrack.
The song, “Friends,” was released today, and was accompanied by a music video which features Shelton in the recording studio with many of the movie’s characters.
“I can write things about myself and my life,” he said about writing the song for the soundtrack. “But I don’t have a whole lot of experience being shot out of a slingshot at pigs.”
The Angry Birds Movie is based on the popular game and will feature the voices of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, and Danny McBride. The Oklahoma native will voice a pig named Earl in the movie.
The animated film is set to hit theaters on May 20.
