Chris Stapleton was honored once again tonight (April 3) at the ACM Awards. He won his third trophy for the evening for Album of the Year with Traveller.

Receiving a hug from fellow nominee Eric Church, Stapleton walked on the stage with producer Dave Cobb and thanked his wife, musicians and label.

“That is unbelievable. Garth Brooks just gave me an award from Ottawa,” he said. “I want to thank my wife, everybody who’s worked on this record, all the musicians, label. I want to thank everybody here for treating this record so kindly.”

Cobb then had the microphone to share his gratitude.

“Thanks to everybody who bought the record and the Stapletons for giving me this opportunity and thank God.”

This marks Stapleton’s third ACM Award of 2016. He previously was named New Male Vocalist of the Year and received an award for Song of the Year earlier tonight for “Nobody To Blame.” He is also nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year.

The 51st annual ACM Awards air live tonight (April 3) on CBS.
