With just one week left until the big night, CMT has announced the nominees for a brand new category for the 2016 CMT Music Awards.

Nominated for the inaugural #SocialSuperstar category is Kelsea Ballerini, Brett Eldredge, Lindsay Ell, Jake Owen, Thomas Rhett and Blake Shelton. The award honors acts who stay connected with fans through their social media platforms.

The #SocialSuperstar award is fan-voted through Twitter and Instagram. Fans hoping to vote should use the hashtag #CMTAwards and the artist’s tag, #VoteKelsea, #VoteBrett, #VoteLindsay, #VoteJake, #VoteThomas or #VoteBlake. Voting will continue throughout the show.

With the brand new category, Shelton and Rhett are now tied with Carrie Underwood, Cam and Chris Stapleton as the most nominated with three nods a piece.

The 2016 CMT Music Awards air live from Nashville at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 8. The show will be hosted by Erin Andrews and J.J. Watt.
