Maren Morris ‘Can’t Imagine’ Life Without Ryan Hurd
"We don’t use each other as a crutch, it's just someone to talk to at the end of the day who is going through the exact same thing," Morris said of their relationship.
Love is definitely in the summer air for Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd.
The country couple has been together throughout both of their successes in the past few years. They’ve gone through single and album releases with one another, and they always stand by each other’s sides from the red carpet to hanging out side stage.
Not only do they support each other in a romantic sense, Morris admitted that they’ve been fans of one another from the moment they both decided to follow their dreams and ride along their crazy journeys within the music industry. Morris and Hurd stand together as a united force in both love and music, and they wouldn’t have it any other way.
“I can’t imagine not having him. We don’t use each other as a crutch, it’s just someone to talk to at the end of the day who is going through the exact same thing. We were both songwriters before we got signed so I remember even three years ago us having a beer and saying to each other, ‘Should we do this? Should we do the artist thing?’ It’s like making that decision together even though we’re separate artists, it’s like from day one he’s been that person for me and I’ve been that person for him,” Morris said recently of their tight-knit relationship.
Morris and Hurd recently got engaged back in early July, with Morris announcing the news via a simple Instagram post captioned, “Yes.” Hurd also shared his own photo of the two out on a small motorboat on July 3, in which many fans assumed that was the moment he popped the question. Nevertheless, the couple has not yet decided on any wedding details at this time.
Morris is currently out on the 15 in a 30 Tour with Sam Hunt and Chris Janson for the rest of the summer.
