Lori McKenna was presented with the honor by Cam during an ACM Awards songwriter showcase in Las Vegas.
For nearly two hours, those lucky enough to get in the door witnessed four of Nashville’s most respected songwriters perform up-close and tell the stories behind their hit songs.
The album features cuts from a number of Nashville’s most popular tunesmiths as well as fellow artists Dan + Shay and Chris Stapleton.

“I think I had to be the one to write a lot of the songs on this project to make it the personal album that it is,” Moakler explains.
“I’m really just trying to sit here and just really enjoy this moment because it’s very rare to have these kinds of moments where so many cool things are happening in your life.,” Rhett said prior to the celebration.
