Country Music Year in Review: 2015 Babies

We’ve recapped the 2015 Country engagements… we’ve recapped the 2015 Country weddings… and now it’s time to look back at 2015’s Country babies!

There was quite a baby boom this year! Check out all of the adorable additions below.

Mallary Hope and her husband Ryan Dokke welcomed their baby girl in January. Scarlett Ruth weighed in at 7.4lbs and was 18.5 inches long. The new mom described the birth as “easy” and “painless.” Don’t all moms wish it was like that!?

Clara Henningsen of The Henningsens got a present sweeter than chocolate for Valentine’s Day this year! She and her husband Jacob Calaway welcomed their little boy Louie Cannon on Feb. 14. The couple originally announced that they were expecting by saying, “Adding a new band member in March 2015!!”

Newcomer Logan Mize also got a wonderful Valentine’s Day present when his wife, Jill, delivered their second child, a girl, named Violet Raye Mize. Violet joins big brother Lincoln.

The baby boom continued with Eric Church and his wife Katherine. The couple welcomed their second son into the world on Feb. 15. Tennessee Hawkins Church, who is known as Hawk, weighed in at 6 lbs. and 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. He joined big brother Boone McCoy.

Another holiday baby trend continued with Trailer Choir’s Marc “Butter” Fortney and Carter’s Chord singer Emily Robertson. Their family of three grew to four when them welcomed Hutch Robertson Fortney on St. Patrick’s Day. Hutch is in good hands as he has big brother Tug Ryder to look up to.

The Trailer Choir family kept growing as former front woman Crystal Hoyt and husband Todd Bray said hello to their baby boy. Ryman Marshall Bray “came into the world without a hitch at 12:47 PM, 8.5oz, 20 1/2 inches” the proud mom gushed on Instagram.

When Carrie Underwood revealed she was expecting, the world could barely contain its excitement. When she finally announced that she and her husband Mike Fisher had welcomed their baby boy, the world imploded! “Tiny hands and tiny feet…God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher – born on February 27. Welcome to the world, sweet angel!” the proud, first-time mom wrote on social media.

In one of the most heartbreaking stories of the year, Randy Rogers Band lead Randy Rogers and his wife Chelsea Cai Dowlearn welcomed their daughter on June 3. “Newest member of the Rogers family, Rumer Rain. It’s a good day, friends,” Rogers wrote on Twitter. Unfortunately, the 7 lb., 13 oz. little girl passed away just six days later from a rare condition.

In August, “Findin’ A Good Man” singer Danielle Peck and husband Josh Smith became the proud parents of a baby girl. Ava was welcomed into the world on Sunday, August 16 at Nashville’s St. Thomas Midtown hospital. “We are both so in love with her and in awe of this beautiful moment,” she wrote to her fans on Facebook.

Singer Jessie James Decker and her football pro husband, Eric Decker, expanded their family to four when they welcomed a baby boy, Eric Thomas Decker II. The baby, who they nicknamed Bubby, joins big sister Vivianne Rose.

Toby Keith became a grandpa again when his daughter Krystal Keith and her husband Andrew became the proud parents of daughter Hensley Jack. She arrived on Monday, Oct. 19 and was “6lbs 11oz of pure and precious,” her proud mama wrote on Facebook.

David Nail and his wife Catherine shocked fans when they revealed they were expecting by showing off Catherine’s growing baby bump on the red carpet at the CMA Awards in November. The couple revealed they were preparing for twins, a boy and a girl, which they welcomed into the world a little over a month later. On Dec. 12, son Lawson Brent was born at 7:44 a.m., and weighed 6 lbs., 2 oz., while daughter Lillian Catherine arrived one minute later and weighed 5 lbs., 14 oz.
