Year In Review: 2013 Country Babies
As 2013 winds down, we’re recapping the year’s biggest country music events. First we took a look back at 2013′s Country engagements, then we recapped the year’s weddings, and now we’re celebrating 2013′s births.
It was quite the year for country music babies! Dierks Bentley and his wife welcomed their third child (and first boy!) while Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott and her husband had their first child. 2013 was also a year for the boys! All but two of the country music babies born this year were boys.
Here’s a look at 2013′s country babies…
Love and Theft’s Eric Gunderson welcomed his first child with wife Emily in March. The baby boy, named Camden William, came two months early! Despite his early arrival, both mom and baby were doing fine following the delivery.
Chely Wright and her wife are dealing with double trouble! The couple welcomed the identical twin boys into the world in May. The boys were named George Samuel and Everett Joseph, after their great-grandfathers.
Country music newcomer Jared Ashley and his wife are seeing pink following the birth of their daughter Georgia McClain Ashley. The baby girl was born in Nashville weighing in at 7 lb. 2 oz.
Clay Walker and his wife Jessica surprised fans with the announcement of their pregnancy when Jessica showed up on the ACM red carpet with a very pronounced baby bump. Months later, the proud papa announced the arrival of baby Elijah. Elijah joins the couple’s 4-year-old, William, and 3-year-old, Mary. Walker also has two teenage daughters from his first marriage.
The Lady baby finally arrived! After months of excitement, Lady Antebellum’s leading lady Hillary Scott and her husband Chris Tyrrell became first time parents with the birth of Eisele Kaye. The baby is the first child for the couple and also already received gifts from stars like Reba and Stevie Nicks.
After two girls, Dierks Bentley’s wife Cassidy delivered their first boy to the world in the fall of 2013. Knox Bentley was born Oct. 9 and joins big sisters Evalyn Day (nicknamed Evie) and Jordan Catherine.
On Dec. 2, Love and Theft’s Stephen Barker Liles and his fiancée became the proud parents to baby boy Jett. Jett arrived in at 7lbs, 7ounces, and 20 and 1/2 inches. “He has Jenna’s lips and my nose,” says the proud dad.
Lee Brice became a second time daddy earlier this month! He and wife Sara have a new bouncing baby boy to celebrate. Ryker Mobley was born Dec. 8 and joins big brother Takoda.
