Newcomer Chris Bandi’s latest video puts a face to the regret behind his redemptive single, “Man Enough Now,” hoping for a second chance at once-in-a-lifetime romance.

All about transforming from a clueless kid into a partner worthy of the girl who got away, the track follows a familiar tale of missed connection. Co-written by the St. Louis native with Jason Massey and Jason Duke, it finds a guy realizing he met the woman of his dreams a little too soon — and its video casts The Bachelorette’s Luke Pell alongside Kelli Berglund to bring it to life. By the time he’s wised up, she’s already moved on … but perhaps you’re never too late for true love.

“I grew up, got it all together / I stopped runnin’ from forever / It’s too bad, we happened when we did / ‘Cause I’ve learned a lot about life since then / I can’t go back, girl I hate that / You fell in love with a kid tryna figure it out / So if one more chance is somethin’ that you ever think about / I’m man enough now,” goes the pleading chorus.

Bandi released the track independently in 2017, and since then it’s earned a sizable chunk of Spotify streams. “Man Enough Now” begun impacting country radio stations earlier this year, and Bandi is currently touring with “Prayed for You” hit maker Matt Stell.
