Rising country star Gabby Barrett has announced that her highly-anticipated debut album, Goldmine, will be released on June 19. The LP will be Barrett’s first full-length project since finishing third on the 16th season of American Idol in 2018, and signing with Warner Music Nashville last year.

The announcement comes after Barrett scored her first No. 1 with her debut single “I Hope,” marking history as the first solo female artist to achieve this since 2017.

“I am so excited that my first album is finally complete. I’ve been writing for this project for almost two years, pulling together who I am as an artist and working hard with my team to make this album an expression of that,” Barrett shared in a statement. “To see it come together like this feels amazing and is such a huge blessing. I’m so excited for June 19 – can’t wait for you to hear it!”

The Munhall, Pennsylvania native also coupled her announcement with a brand-new track “Got Me,” featuring christian music duo Shane & Shane. The faith-based song serves a heartfelt confession of Barrett’s immense gratitude for her husband, God and His love for her. Also featured on the singer’s upcoming album is the recently-released Charlie Puth-assisted remix of “I Hope.”
