Keith Urban Scores 19th No.1 Single
Keith Urban notched his 19th chart-topping single this week with “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16.”
The song, which sits atop the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart, was written by Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne and Ross Copperman. It’s the lead single from the superstar’s forthcoming new album.
“Some songs grab me at first listen. Other songs creep up on me. I love those songs too, but this was immediate,” the superstar recently told Country Countdown USA of “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16.”
In addition to working on a new album, Urban is on the hunt for the next American Idol. He and his fellow AI judges are currently touring the U.S. hosting auditions for the upcoming finale season of the hit show.
