Ryan Hurd is celebrating moments that last with his heartwarming track, “Every Other Memory.” And in honor of this Father’s Day, he’s sharing one of his own favorite memories exclusively with Sounds Like Nashville.

A truly romantic anthem dedicated to a stitches time that won’t ever come unraveled, the new track is like a musical photo album, full of priceless and unforgettable mental snapshots. On the surface it’s all about the love-at-first sight rush of falling for your one-and-only — but it makes Hurd think about another kind of love now.

Back in March, he and wife Maren Morris became the parents to a baby boy named Hayes, making this Hurd’s first Father’s Day. And he can’t help tie his new single to way that makes him feel.

“Now that Hayes is here, he’s taken over our lives in all the best ways; he has kind of become ‘every other memory’ to me, so to speak,” says the proud dad and rising country talent. “It’s hard to imagine a time when he wasn’t here now that we have our little family. Simply being able to watch him discover the world is a huge source of joy for me.”

Hurd released “Every Other Memory” back in April, and scored a fan-favorite hit with the clever romance of “To A T” in 2018. The hit-making songwriter also teamed up with Kane Brown to co-pen the diversity-focused anthem, “Worldwide Beautiful,” which came out in early June.
