Zac Brown Band explore the special bond between a father and his daughter in the video for “The Man Who Loves You the Most,” and it’s sure to leave any girl dad with a lump in his throat.

Directed by Jocelyn Cooper and filled with heartwarming everyday moments, the clip is described as a “love letter to father-daughter pairs everywhere.” It follows a young woman alone in her apartment, who reads a news story announcing another COVID-19 death and is suddenly overcome. Thinking back to a lifetime of unshakeable love, a montage of home movies tells the story of a father like so many others … one that was apparently cut short.

In the end, it serves as a poignant reminder for fathers and daughters to treasure every moment they have together — something Brown, who is a dad of five, knows all too well.

“As a father to four girls myself, I know firsthand how special the father-daughter bond is,” he says. “When creating this video, it was important to make something that serves as a reminder of the importance of our loved ones and that through the good times and the bad, a father’s love will always endure.”

The video stars Reilly Baker, Corey Landis, Reese Brunt, Eric Brunt and Will Houlihan. The Zac Brown Band first released “The Man Who Loves You the Most” in 2020, performing an early version of the quarantine-written tune for a fan’s Zoom wedding. It marks the first taste of new music from the band since their 2019 chart topper, The Owl. They also released the beach track “You and Islands” last summer.
