Big Machine Label Group Signs Jackie Lee

L to R: Republic Nashville President Jimmy Harnen, Big Machine Label Group General Manager Andrew Kautz, Big Machine Label Group President/CEO Scott Borchetta, Manager Trey Turner, Producer Carson Chamberlain, Republic Nashville Artist Jackie Lee, Manager Doug Nichols, and Big Machine Label Group Vice President of A&R Allison Jones

Nineteen-year-old Jackie Lee has inked his first record deal with Republic Nashville. Jackie Lee joins a stellar roster of artists including Martina McBride, The Band Perry, Eli Young Band and Sunny Sweeney as well as the recently added Greg Bates.

“It’s an honor to be a part of the Big Machine Label Group which has had such an influence on Country music. I’m proud to have made an impression on both Scott Borchetta and Jimmy Harnen who have welcomed me into the Republic Nashville family,” said Jackie Lee.

Republic Nashville President Jimmy Harnen says the label is very enthusiastic and energetic about showcasing Jackie Lee to the Country music community. “Jackie has the kind of voice that you hear of once in a lifetime. The first time I heard him in the studio I thought Carson Chamberlain, his producer, had some type of processing on his voice! It was pitch perfect and bigger than a house! I can’t wait for the world to hear Jackie Lee,” said Harnen.

At the age of six, Jackie Lee began singing in front of crowds with his family band and had his first Nashville recording session with his producer Carson Chamberlain. At age 3, he delivered his first performance at his aunt Kristi’s wedding.

Jackie was very involved in high school as a four-year member of an auditioned choir entitled “Alcoa Singers.” He played on Alcoa High School’s State Championship-winning football team during his freshman and sophomore years until scheduling forced him to choose between sports and a music career.

Jackie Lee is currently in the studio working on his debut album with acclaimed songwriter and producer Carson Chamberlain.
