Brett Young and Wife Reveal Sex of Baby No.2 on ‘Kelly Clarkson Show’

Baby No.2 is on the way for Brett Young and his wife Taylor. The couple has excitedly been waiting to reveal what they are expecting and as it turns out… it’s another girl! The California native appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Thursday (3/25) and shared with the host that he’s seeing pink (again).
“So wait, do you know if it’s a boy or a girl,” Clarkson asked her guest.
“Actually, we do. We thought it would be a fun way to announce that, do the reveal right here,” Young revealed. “Since my wife and baby couldn’t be here, I thought it would be fun to at least use a picture.”
As he said that, a photo of his 17-month-old daughter Presley popped up on the screen. In the photo, Prelsey is surrounded by pink balls, sharing that she’ll have a little sister. “Baby girl No. 2 is on the way,” joked Young. “Yeah, so I need to get boy dogs or something!”
Brett and Taylor revealed in January 2021 that they were expecting a second child and knew that they wanted their kids to be close in age.
“We really wanted them to be close enough in age so they could have a lot of things in common and be best friends. Tay had her sister close in age growing up, so we both felt strongly we wanted Presley to have the same,” he said upon the announcement. “Tay is so close with her sister, and that’s something we always knew we wanted for Presley. We feel very blessed.”
Baby Young will arrive in the summer of 2021.
In the meantime, the proud dad is busy with a brand new song called “You Got Away With It.” His current single, “Lady,” is climbing the charts at country radio.
