Carrie Underwood Reveals She’s Used Her Breast Pump In ‘Awkward’ Places

Carrie Underwood’s life has changed dramatically since the arrival of her baby boy Isaiah. One of the major changes Underwood has experienced in her life as a new mom is having to use her breast pump in some pretty awkward places.

The superstar talked with E!’s Catt Sadler about it at the New York Fashion Week debut of her fitness and lifestyle brand, Calia By Carrie Underwood.

When asked about pumping at big events like that one, Underwood knew about it all too well. “I’m at my time limit. That’s life,” she said.

She added, “You learn that awkwardness is part of being a mom.”

With a busy schedule that’s about to get even busier (her new album Storyteller drops October 23), Underwood has had to pump everywhere imaginable, even at restaurants. “I’ve literally turned my chair around into a corner over on like a side room [at a restaurant] and pumped there,” she revealed before adding, “I pumped at a concert once, I was attending somebody else’s concert. Awkwardness is a part of being a mom.”

Pump on, Carrie. Pump on!
