Dolly Parton and Jimmy Fallon continued their ongoing friendship on The Tonight Show, chatting like old buddies and even pretending to be detectives for a laugh-filled game segment.

Appearing on the show alongside To All the Boys: Always and Forever actor Noah Centino, the country legend tried her hand at one of Fallon’s signature game-show style skits — hoping to spot the lie in a segment called “True Confessions.” It found Parton, Centino and Fallon each taking a turn admitting to a hard-to-believe fact, and then trying to convince the others that it was true in an interrogation-style challenge. And needless to say, the clip is full of “lols.” Check it out and see if you can tell who’s telling the truth, and who’s a master of deception.

Earlier in the show, Parton also caught up with her pal about all she’s had going on — including their duet on Parton’s A Holly Dolly Christmas album in 2020. The pair recounted their charming version of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas,” and went on to talk about Parton’s appearance on a new version of “Words” by The Bee Gee’s Barry Gibb, and writing the original idea for “Coat of Many Colors” down on a dry-cleaning ticket.

Dolly Parton also went on to explain turning her iconic “9 to 5″ into “5 to 9″ for a Super Bowl commercial, and shared the kind of heartwarming back and forth that only she and Fallon seem to have. Check out the rest of their time on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon below.
