He may be one of the few country stars that isn’t putting out a holiday record for this year’s Christmas season, but Eric Church is still feeling the festive vibes by being the lead for the kickoff of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign.

The country star will be celebrating the beginning of the campaign for the season in a manner that many fans will appreciate as he will be performing at halftime during the Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys game on Thanksgiving Day.

Church posted a promo to his social media channels to let fans know that he will be taking the field stage live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in which he draws plays on a chalkboard while whistling the classic NFL theme song.

Although this will be one, if not the last, of his performances for the year, Church is about to embark on his huge Holdin’ My Own Tour in 2017. He’ll be taking his show on the road solo to cities all across the country throughout the winter and spring months. Fans can find more information about the tour on his website and can buy tickets for selected dates now.

Church will perform the halftime show on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 24) during the football game, which is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. ET.
