First Look: Jennifer Nettles as Roxie Hart in ‘Chicago’

Singer, songwriter, host, mom…Jennifer Nettles has proven she can do it all! And now, she’s ready to add “Broadway star” to her résumé.

On Tuesday, the singer announced that she’s taking on the iconic role of Roxie Hart in Broadway’s Chicago beginning February 2, 2015. After the big announcement was made on NBC’s Today Show, Nettles shared her excitement with fans via Twitter. “Freak out, scream face excited! @ChicagoMusical ahhhhhhhh! Hallelujah now we can talk about it!!!” she wrote.

And talk about it she is. Today, Nettles gave fans a first look at her in character as Roxie by posting the above photo with the caption, “#sneakpeek #behindthescenes #loosingmymind #aaaaaaaahhhhk Chicago The Musical.”

She looks fabulous, doesn’t she?
