Florida Georgia Line Teases New Christmas Song on Instagram

It may not even be fall just yet, but Florida Georgia Line is prepping early for the holidays this year.

The country duo released a snippet of a potential new Christmas song they may be releasing as their gift to fans on Instagram. While they didn’t share a title for the tune, the yuletide spirit was in the lyrics with a bit of a country twist.

“That Christmas tree ain’t the only thing getting lit this year / there’s Old Camp in the eggnog and that brings us full of cheer,” the guys sing over the country carol.

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley can be seen enjoying a glass of their own Old Camp whiskey in the video, toasting to the holly times ahead.

“Your boys got us a Christmas #banger coming soon!!!!! Helloooooo #fgldoesachristmassong,” the duo captioned the clip.

This marks the first time FGL plans to release Christmas music, joining the ranks of other country stars who’ve made merry melodies.

Meanwhile, the duo are gearing up for this year’s ACM Awards happening on September 16. Kelley posted a video of him responsibly getting his pre-show COVID-19 test taken care of to make sure he is healthy in time for the celebration. Hubbard is currently recovering from surgery at home with his kids and counting down the days until Baby No. 3 arrives.

Florida Georgia Line is nominated for Duo of the Year, alongside Brooks & Dunn, Brothers Osborne, Maddie & Tae and Dan + Shay. It was also previously announced that they will be one of the many performers of the big night.

While fans wait to unwrap the FGL song, they can check out the duo’s latest song, “Long Live,” which is available to purchase or stream now.
