George Strait will headline the country half of a special two-night festival in Atlanta’s massive Mercedes-Benz Stadium this fall, bringing the ATLive series back with some big-named co-stars.

Set for November 5-6, Strait will be joined by Eric Church and Caitlyn Smith, while hard-rock icons Metallica are set to headline festival’s other night.

Dubbed ATLive Presented by Mercedes-EQ, 2021 marks the festival’s second year, returning for another back-to-back round of country and rock powerhouses.

Strait, Church and Smith will take the stadium stage on Friday, November 5, while Metallica, Cage the Elephant and Greta Van Fleet will “blow the roof off” the home of the Atlanta Falcons Saturday, November 6.

“We are thrilled to be bringing ATLive back with an incredible lineup of artists,” said Tim Zulawski, Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of the festival’s organizers, AMB Sports and Entertainment. “From the beginning, our goal was to create a concert series that will become the must-see event for Atlanta. In our first year, we delivered a world-class experience for fans from across the world and we are excited to create that same experience again while giving back to our communities and those in need.”

In 2019, the festival’s first year included sell-out shows featuring Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Church and Luke Combs, among others. Tickets for the 2021 re-boot go on-sale July 16, at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster, and a portion of the proceeds will help provide housing for wounded veterans and feeding the hungry via charities supported by Strait and Metallica.

Meanwhile, George Strait will return to the stage at Las Vegas T-Mobile Arena on August 13 and 14, as his COVID-delayed Strait to Vegas residency resumes.
