Jon Pardi is ready to hit the trail on a summer headlining tour, announcing the dates and details behind his Ain’t Always The Cowboy Tour.

Kicking off July 14 in Irving, Texas, the honky tonk hero’s journey will feature 25 dates in all, with openers Lainey Wilson and Hailey Whitters as his posse. Together, the compadres will criss cross the open range all across America, including stops in Pardi’s native California, Wisconsin, New York, Alabama and more, wrapping up on October 1 with a hometown show at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater.

“I’m really excited to take two great friends and great artists out as openers for the Ain’t Always The Cowboy Tour,” Pardi said when the trek was announced. He also told American Songwriter that his approach to touring is still straightforward and simple, even as his career picks up steam. “You get your buddies and put on a good show anywhere people will have you,” the chart topper said.

Meanwhile, Pardi will also join Brooks & Dunn for select dates on their Reboot 2022 Tour, and he can also be found at select festival and other headlining dates through this spring and early summer. Pardi just released a twangy new single titled “Last Night Lonely.”

“What I love most about music is the feelings,” Pardi went on to tell American Songwriter in a cover story interview. “They make you dance, cry, have a drink. Fall in love or get the hell out of love. That’s why I love music and why it will always be a part of my life, your life—that’s why we’re here.”
