Though they are both busy with their own careers between music and film, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman always make a point to take part in one another’s successes. After wrapping filming on season two of  Big Little Lies, Kidman flew out to the Midwest to join her guitar-slinging hubby during his “Graffiti U” tour. Kidman was standing side-stage when he decided to surprise the audience (and Kidman herself) by inviting his wife out on stage.

The moment came after Urban welcomed two fans onstage, one of which was pregnant and carried a sign reading “baby’s first time onstage.” After formal introductions, Urban called out to his wife and encouraged her to join him and meet the two women. “C’mon, baby, say hi to these lovely people,” he said in a video posted to YouTube.

Visibly embarrassed and hesitant, Kidman walked out on stage, prompting cheers from the crowd and surprised gasps from the women onstage. After kissing Urban and hugging the fans, Kidman took the microphone for a quick “Hi Chicago” before trying to slink back to side stage.

“Is that it?” Urban asked as she made her way back to the wings. “Don’t you want to hang here with me a little bit? Baby, you love me. We should get a picture because my wife is freaking out right now. I can tell you, you are in good hands, baby girl.”

The four then got together for a quick photo, before Urban resumed the remainder of his show for the evening.

Urban and Kidman’s high-jinx on the road have been captured on camera before. Most recently, the actress gave a behind-the-scenes look at her husband hard at work, recording new music in the bathroom of their hotel room.

“Whatever it takes to get the right sound when you’re recording. Nothing like the acoustics in a hotel bathroom,” she wrote with a photo and heart-eyed emoji.

The singer will continue his “Graffiti U Tour” with a stop in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Friday, Aug. 24.
