Kimberly Perry Weds J.P. Arencibia

It’s official!

The Band Perry’s Kimberly Perry married Texas Rangers catcher J.P. Arencibia on Thursday in her hometown of Greeneville, Tennessee. According to WJHL, the pair exchanged vows at First Presbyterian Church in front of friends and family, including Perry’s brothers, Neil and Reid, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, and Miranda Lambert.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds invited guests to attend a reception at Perry’s parents home.

Perry and Arencibia got engaged last fall after meeting in February 2012 at the Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Florida. According to The Tennessean, Arencibia saw Perry in the trio’s “If I Die Young” music video and “had this moment where he felt like that was going to be a part of his future.” He was right. He ended up using some connections to get backstage at one of TBP’s shows some time later and scored Perry’s phone number in the meet and greet. The rest is history.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
