Watch Laine Hardy Perform ‘Memorize You’ On ABC’s ‘The Bachelorette’

Laine Hardy performed his romantic new song, “Memorize You,” on ABC’s The Bachelorette on Monday, July 5. Hardy performed the tune for the bachelorette, Katie Thurston, and her lucky date. The American Idol season 17 winner was joined by his band as he sang the song on a stage decorated with warm light fixtures.
In the song, Hardy sings of wanting to know everything about a new love interest. The tune was released on May 14, and upon its release, Thurston commented on Hardy’s Instagram that she was “obsessed” with it.
“I wanna know your heart by heart and your kiss by kiss / Wanna know what it was like / Every day before me, what’s your story? / Baby, every single line / What makes you laugh, makes you dance, makes you fall / Like only love can do / Give me some time with your smile / Baby, I wanna memorize you,” sings Hardy in the chorus.
Hardy also released a music video for the song which shows the singer performing it at an outdoor venue while a couple who just met go on a tropical date. The video was directed by Dustin Haney and shot on 30A in Florida.
“I’ve been so excited to get this out since the moment I heard the mix,” Hardy said of the song. “I’ve been asking and asking when we could put it out. Well, it’s here and it’s time to hit the road to play it for the fans.”
“Memorize You” follows Hardy’s previous releases, including “Ground I Grew Up On,” “Tiny Town” and “Other LA.”
