George Strait is goin’ goin’ back to country radio! The legendary entertainer is back at radio with a brand new single, “Goin’ Goin’ Gone,” from his Cold Beer Conversation album.

Written by Wyatt Earp and Keith Gattis, the track pays homage to getting a little rowdy for the weekend.

“I’m overdue so throw it on the card / Bartender, keep it open, I’m just getting started / Come Monday morning, I just might be overdrawn / But it’s Friday night, so, I’m goin’, goin’, gone,” croons Strait.

The song is Strait’s first follow up to his first single post-road retirement.

“I’ve been working a little bit here and there, and I’m really proud of this new album that’s coming out… I think it’s a great record – I always say this; I think it’s one of the best records I’ve done. I always shoot for that,” the Texas native said when his album was announced.
