Luke Bryan, Gabby Barrett Among New Round of CMA Awards Performers

The night’s first-time host and one of its most-nominated artists have been added to the list of performers for the 55th Annual CMA Awards — and there’s more where they came from

Revealing a third round of stars set to take the live-TV stage, the awards show has booked Luke Bryan, Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley with BRELAND and HARDY, pop star Jennifer Hudson, Thomas RhettKeith Urban, and Zac Brown Band.

Taking place in Nashville on November 10, the long-running show billed as “Country’s Biggest Night” will once again be full of live performances. Adding to previously shared details, Barrett will deliver one of the songs which has helped give her four nominations this year, capping a year of dramatic success for the new star and new mother with a rendition of “The Good Ones.”

Likewise, Bryan will perform “Up,” Bentley will tap “Beers On Me” with collaborators BRELAND and HARDY, Thomas Rhett will sing “Country Again,” Urban is planning to share “Wild Hearts” and Zac Brown Band will preach neighborly cooperation in “Same Boat.” Plus, Hudson will grace the CMA Awards stage for the first time in her career, coinciding with her starring role in the new Aretha Franklin biographical musical drama, Respect.

It all adds up to a night loaded with country favorites, with previously announced performers including Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood, Jimmie Allen, Brothers Osborne, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Mickey Guyton with Brittney Spencer and Madeline Edwards, Miranda Lambert, Old Dominion, Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, and Chris Young and Kane Brown.

The 55th Annual CMA Awards will broadcast LIVE from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 10 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. This year marks Bryan’s first hosting opportunity, after the pandemic-impacted 2020 ceremony was hosted by Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker, and the year before featured McEntire, Dolly Parton and Underwood.
