Just days after Luke Combs and his bride, Nicole, shared their wedding vows, the two decided it was time to share some cake.
Nicole posted a picture of the custom-made cake, which was in the shape of a Miller Lite beer can. It even featured a sweet edit to the lyrics of Luke’s single, “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” with the writing saying, “Nicole & Beer Never Broke My Heart,” along with their wedding date.
The photo was classically captioned with the beer cheers emoji and a red heart emoji, in which Luke commented, “LOML,” also known as love of my life, below.
The couple tied the knot on a south Florida beach, surrounded by friends and family on August 1. Luke posted a snapshot of the big day the following morning to give fans a sneak peek of their nuptials.
“Yesterday was the best day of my life. I got to marry my best friend. I love you @nicohoking, here’s to forever,” the singer wrote in dedication to his wife.
The two met at a songwriters’ festival in Key West, Florida, back in 2016. They dated for two years before Luke got down on one knee and popped the question in the same place where their story began.
Luke has postponed all of his tour dates until 2021, but continues to keep up with his fan base through social media. He has put up livestreams of live performances, as well as some acoustic covers and never-been-released tracks.
