Matt Williams Is Courageously Moving On In ‘Now And Then’

Rising country singer and US army veteran Matt Williams has his mind set on moving on from a breakup in his new song, “Now And Then.”

The mid-tempo song, which was penned by Bill Rhoemer, Kyles James and Rich LaFleur, details the persona’s personal journey toward emotional freedom after a heartbreak.

But every now and then I fall back in I think about you get lost again in all those memories you and me’s / Friday nights and gasoline / From the main street lights to the backroad dust,” Williams sings confidently on the soaring chorus.

Next thing I know I grab my phone I see your name and I come so close but I don’t hit send / ‘Cause I know how it’ll end so I don’t give in / That’s the difference between now and then.”

“Now And Then” follows Williams’ heartwarming song “Love On Somebody” and his viral cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s hit song, “Simple Man.”
