Midland Guitarist Jess Carson and Wife Welcome Baby Girl, Rosalia

Midland guitarist Jess Carson and his wife Camille have welcomed the birth of a beautiful baby girl, the couple’s third child.

Born March 27th in Driftwood, Texas, little Rosalia Jean Carson arrived at 2:29 p.m. weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces and measuring 18 ¾ inches long. She was delivered at home following a 100 percent natural birth plan, with Carson telling People his wife is the “strongest woman I know.” Rosalia is named after Camille’s grandmother and Jess’ father, and she joins brother Parker Emmanuel (22 months) and 3-year-old sister Ida Mae.

The beaming couple revealed the pregnancy news in November on the red carpet of the CMA Awards, with Camille showing off her baby bump in a shimmering ballgown.

Carson and his Midland bandmates are still riding high after their Platinum “Drinkin’ Problem” breakout. The twang loving neo-honky tonkers are up for two awards at the 54th ACM Awards on April 7 – Group of the Year and Music Video of the Year for “Burn Out” – and their two-stepping new single “Mr. Lonely” is out now. They’re also featured on Brooks & Dunn’s upcoming Reboot duets album, and they’ ll continue their headlining Electric Rodeo Tour through spring.
