In the music video for Old Dominion’s latest single, “Song For Another Time,” video clips from both the past and the present mesh together to create the coolest music-infused storyline. Putting together the vintage with the now, it didn’t just present an interesting music video treatment, but also a chance for the band to look back on the good old days.

Documenting big moments in their career to the simpler times from years ago, the video matches the song overall, with lyrics that mention some great hits of the past decades. When it got time to make the video though, Old Dominion made their own personal contributions and it gave them time to look back at how far they’ve come.

“It was pretty amazing to look through all this old footage of us. Our parents had sent into us and some old friends that had videos of us, and you know some of us as far back as elementary school…we’re just kids playing music and learning…always working towards what we’re doing today. It’s kind of a ‘this is your life’ moment for us to look at this video and see how all of our hard work is kind of turned into this big thing that it’s becoming now. It means a lot to us,” said Matthew Ramsey, lead singer of Old Dominion, recently.

Old Dominion has definitely come into their own over the past year with huge hits like “Snapback” and “Break Up With Him” on country radio. Currently on the road with Kenny Chesney for the Spread the Love Tour, the band is getting even greater experience and exposure to further their career ahead to a bright future.
