Old Dominion celebrate the power of kindness in their latest music video, paying it forward for their single, “Some People Do.”

Directed by Mason Allen, clip shows the snowball effect of a simple good deed … and how it can lead to a much bigger transformation. It was inspired by and stars Jason Schneidman — the celebrity groomer who was once homeless but turned his life around after battling drug addiction — and finds Old Dominion joining Schneidman to help his Men’s Groomer Foundation in Los Angeles.

As the band’s poignant single plays on behind them, Schneidman and the band dole out haircuts and a hot meal to the local homeless community, giving them not just a fresh look, but a renewed sense of dignity … and hopefully a fresh start.

“Everything about our friend Jason’s life and mission is what this song is all about,” the band write on Instagram. “We’re grateful to him for telling his story and helping us capture the spirit of the song. We hope it helps lift you up a bit.”

“Some People Do” is the third single off Old Dominion’s self-titled third studio album, which has already produced the back to back Number Ones “Make It Sweet” and “One Man Band.” Check out the band when they take part in Sunday night’s (April 5) ACM Presents: Our Country television special.
