The Band Perry’s Kimberly Perry Admits She’s A ‘Bridal Procrastinator’
Kimberly Perry of The Band Perry is a planner. So much so that she envisioned her dream proposal for years and it finally came to life last fall when she said “yes” to Toronto Blue Jays starting catcher JP Arencibia.
When it comes to wedding planning, however, Perry admits she has no vision of what she wants her big day to be like.
After her magical proposal, the dreaming and planning came to a hault. “My daydreaming kind of ended at that point,” says the band’s leading lady. “Then I figured if I ever got there then I would just dream up the rest of it in real time.”
Up until recently, all of Kimberly’s planning has been put into The Band Perry’s first headlining tour. “So we’ve gotten that up and off the ground now and wedding plans are forthcoming. But I’ll say I’m feeling like I’m going to be a bridal procrastinator.”
As for a date for the wedding? Well, it’ll have to fit in to both her tour schedule and Arencibia’s packed baseball schedule. “As we do everything else here in the life of The Band Perry, Reid has a mantra, ‘We make life happen on the go,’” she says. “I’m sure that it will be a quick, short window, but you know that’s just the way we are in The Band Perry and with baseball as well, but it will be sweet nonetheless.”
