Brett Eldredge, Kelly Clarkson Spread Holiday Cheer In Animated ‘Under The Mistletoe’ Video

Brett Eldredge and Kelly Clarkson have unveiled an animated music video for their latest holiday duet, “Under The Mistletoe.”
In the adventurous video, an animated Eldredge and Clarkson perform the upbeat festive tune as various couples busk in the blissful Christmas romance. The clip wraps with a special visit from everyone’s favorite bearded old man and his reindeers.
On collaborating with Clarkson, Eldredge said that he “would have walked to Los Angeles to sing this song if she asked me to.”
“I was so blown away at the opportunity that I knew I had to bring everything I had. She is an incredible singer and even better person. She’s got it all, and so does this song,” Eldredge told Sounds Like Nashville in a recent interview.
“I love writing new Christmas songs that have a classic, throwback vibe,” Clarkson said in a statement. “Brett is such an amazing singer and I was so impressed by his classic sound on his Christmas record, so it was a perfect match for picking a duet partner for ‘Under the Mistletoe.’”
Most recently, the singers also performed their collaboration on The Voice’s Top 9 Results Show.
Outside of this holiday duet, Eldredge released his critically-acclaimed holiday record, Glow, in 2016. The Frank Sinatra-influenced project includes the title track as well as Christmas staples like “White Christmas,” “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” and “Silent Night.” Earlier this year, the country star also dropped his fifth studio album, Sunday Drive.
