“More Hearts Than Mine” singer Ingrid Andress has released a new Christmas original and piano ballad, “Christmas Always Finds Me.”

The pensive song, written by Andress, Derrick Southerland and Sam Ellis, narrates the story of a lonely girl who realizes how that even in her solitude, the nostalgia of “Christmas always finds [her].”

“Through the years I’ve moved a lot / Different doors with different locks / But somehow Christmas always finds me / It’s been a while since I wished / For all the blades and pixie sticks / But somehow Christmas always finds me,” Andress sings in the poignant opening verse.

“I know it’s not even Halloween yet but I’m over 2020 and am jumping straight to Xmas cuz it’s fine,” Andress shared on Instagram. “I wrote this while thinking about how weird/different the holidays will be this year for everyone. But at the end of the day, there’s always room for enjoying the holidays. Especially Xmas. Or whatever u celebrate 🖤”

“Christmas Always Finds Me” follows the deluxe edition of Andress’ critically-acclaimed debut album, Lady Like, which dropped earlier this month. The expanded version features Andress’ No. 1 hit “More Hearts Than Mine,” “The Stranger,” the title track and new songs “Waste of Lime,” “Boys” and “Feeling Things.”
