Coming off his third consecutive No. 1 single (“Slow Dance In A Parking Lot”), Jordan Davis is now gearing up to launch a brand-new EP. The self-titled six-track project is set to drop on May 22, with lead single “Almost Maybes” out now.

The breezy, reminiscent uptempo track was penned by the Davis alongside acclaimed songwriters Hillary Lindsey and Jesse Frasure.

“Here’s to the tears and beers / And wasted years on the weeds that look like daisies  / I wouldn’t be sitting here next to you / If it weren’t for the almost maybes,” the Louisiana native sings, wistfully recalling the many what-if’s and missed opportunities.

“This is one that feels universal. For the few things in life that do fall into place and work out; there are a lot more that don’t,” the 31-year-old shared in a statement. “This is for those times, the ‘almost maybes.’”

“Almost Maybes” follows the emotional “Detours,” a ruminative, personal song that details the singer’s to-hell-and-back life journey. Last year, Davis also dropped his tour title-track “Trouble Town” and collaborated with pop superstar Julia Michaels on “Cool Anymore.”
