Carly Pearce will hope to stay pitch perfect as a last-minute addition to the 2021 World Series tonight (November 2), where she’s on deck to sing the national anthem.

Announced a day prior, Pearce will help kick off game six between the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros in Houston’s Minute Maid Park, just before a matchup that could decide the series.

“Honored and excited to have been asked to perform the National Anthem ahead of tomorrow’s @MLB#WorldSeries Game,” Pearce posted. “Tune in at 7:00PM CT to catch my performance and to cheer on the @Astros and the @Braves!”

With the whole Major League Baseball season hanging in the balance, Pearce should have a massive audience to sing for — both in the stadium and at home. The drama will be at an all-time high as Atlanta leads the best-of-seven series three games to two, but Houston finally got their high-powered offense going in the previous game.

Pearce’s moment will be televised at 7:55 PM ET/6:55 PM CT, before the game starts at 8:09 PM ET/7:09 PM CT on FOX.

Meanwhile, she recently marked another few items off her bucket list. On Monday (November 1) Carly Pearce was announced as an opening act on Kenny Chesney’s upcoming 2022 Here & Now stadium tour, and she figures to have a big night at this year’s 55th annual CMA Awards. Pearce is up for both Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year (for 29), and will also perform on the show.
