Fresh off the heels of two number one singles, rising country star Matt Stell has surprise-released a brand new single, “That Ain’t Me No More.”

The up-tempo tune details the emotions that a guy is forced to live with following a painful breakup. “She’s lettin’ some lucky someone see / That knock-you-dead dress hit the floor / She found the one and it’s killin’ me / ‘Cause that ain’t me no more, yeah / No, that ain’t me no more,” Stell sings in the poignant chorus over a chest-thumping production.

The Center Ridge, Arkansas native penned the song with HARDY, Hunter Phelps, Smith Ahnquist, Jake Mitchell and Nick Donley, and co-produced it alongside Ash Bowers.

“I love all kinds of music,” Stell shares. “Uptempo country songs about heartbreak are probably my favorite, especially when a song has a fresh take on the subject. ‘That Ain’t Me No More’ is all of these things and it’s a rocker to boot.”

Stell’s latest single follows his Better Than That EP, which dropped last year. The eight-track project includes the feel-good “If I Was A Bar” as well as his consecutive number one hits, “Everywhere But On” and “Prayed For You.”
